Walking with you lighting the way
At Illuminate Life, we aim to empower and support people living with psychosocial disability or mental health challenges beyond the conventional therapy model.

What is Recovery
Understanding the terminology is essential. The NDIS defines recovery as an achievement of an optimal state of personal, social and emotional wellbeing, as defined by each individual, whilst living with or recovering from a mental health issue.
Funded Through Your NDIS Plan
Our Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, funded through your NDIS plan, is designed to shine a gentle light on your unique and personal recovery journey. Our compassionate coaches work alongside you, helping to brighten the path forward by building skills, fostering resilience, and supporting your goals—no matter how big or small.

Mental health is a journey, not a fixed endpoint, and recovery can mean different things to each individual.
For many, it’s about fostering connections and developing skills to lead a fulfilling life, whether or not mental health challenges persist.

Our Practice Values
Empowerment
We collaborate with, and empower our clients by fostering independence, choice, and control. Through inclusive, supportive services, we provide the tools, resources, and encouragement to help clients explore new possibilities, achieve their goals, and unlock their full potential.
Safety
We prioritise client safety, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels valued. With a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect or discrimination, we create a secure, empowering space for all.
Person Centered
We empower clients as experts of their own lives, respecting their unique needs and aspirations. By actively listening and tailoring support, we involve clients in decision-making to promote dignity, independence, and meaningful growth.
Connection
We foster genuine, trusting relationships with our team, clients, families, and community. Building genuine connections is at the core of everything we do, allowing everyone to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Compassion
We show compassion by actively listening and responding to people's challenges with kindness and open minds.
Our values define who we are, what we stand for and how we work.
Our skilled coaches hold relevant professional qualifications, are pursuing studies in mental health fields like social work or psychology, possess a mental health certificate or diploma, and most have at least one year of experience as psychosocial disability support workers.
They have unique skills in building relationships that acknowledge and minimise power imbalances, build connections and trust, and advocate for their clients to help them feel empowered and in control.
