About Me

I am a current psychology honours student at Griffith University here in Brisbane working towards becoming a registered psychologist! I have a passion for psychology and mental health as they have both been very influential in my life, and I am always looking to further my knowledge and skills related to these two topics.

I am originally from the United States, specifically the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas! I did my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at Texas A&M University and moved to Australia 3 years ago initially on Work and Holiday. Since then I have fallen in love with Australia and decided to pursue my honours here this year with the intent of doing my masters after to become a registered psych in Australia!

I have a background in the EAP field, working in various different roles in the sector such as critical incident management, account management, and organizing crisis interventions! I use this experience in my work and daily life to keep a level head and calm demeanor in all situations no matter the scenario.

Fun Fact

I play video games semi-professionally, Pokémon VGC to be specific. I travel worldwide to play in events and will be representing Australia this year at the 2026 world championships in San Francisco in August!
